Your homework will consist of:

- a minimum of 8 Reiki sessions on others (ideally, a combination of in-person and distance sessions)

- an answer to all essay questions

Please make sure that you account for that each week (a good starting point is to plan for an extra hour per week).

About the essays:

I know that this can feel instantly stressful, but please don't let it be! This is more about making sure that you've done the inner introspection work, as well as the research needed to answer some of these. Google's your friend, and I'm not looking for "A+" pieces of art - just to verify that you have awareness around certain topics.

So: your essays won't need to be perfect like in school or anything - but they do need to be answered. And if you feel more comfortable answering these as a video, and audio, or face-to-face, that is absolutely fine. But they do need to be thought about and answered. I'm looking for ~1/2 page to (max!!) 5 pages depending on your inspiration.

Take a look a the questions below. These are the ones I want you to answer over the course of the eight weeks!

Long-form questions:

Week 1: INTENTION SETTING. What has your Reiki experience been like so far? What are you hoping to accomplish during Level 2?

Week 2: LOCAL REGULATIONS. Based on where you live, what are the local regulatory bodies in place to regulate Reiki? Are they governmental or optional? What do they require for you to be recognized as a Reiki practitioner? What are your thoughts on regulating Reiki?

Week 3: REIKI BOX. Buy/craft/repurpose a beautiful box that you can use as a "Reiki box". Add intentions as sticky notes/etc into the box.

Week 4: CATCH UP WEEK.

Week 5: BENDING DIMENSIONS. What are your current thoughts/beliefs (limiting or expansive!) around Reiki healing energy traveling through time and space? What about what that means for the human experience?

Week 6: ETHICS. Why do you want to be a Reiki practitioner? In your mind, do you feel ready to become one, and if so, tell me a bit more about that? What is your plan/goal/dreams/commitment to continue your healing and development journey? What are your thoughts on "healing" others - what do you think is okay, and not okay?

Week 7: CATCH UP WEEK.

Week 8: HAND IN EVERYTHING BEFORE THE LAST CLASS TO GRADUATE.
